My Toolkit:
The Tools I’m Using
to Build This Business
An Honest Disclosure: Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means that if you choose to make a purchase, I may earn a small commission. This commission comes at
Hostinger – Web Hosting & Domain
I chose Hostinger to get started because they make it incredibly easy and affordable to buy your domain name and set up your first WordPress website. Their customer support was a huge help when I ran into my own technical issues. It’s a fantastic starting point for anyone on a budget.
WordPress.org – The Foundation of Your Website
It’s important to know that my site runs on the free, open-source software from WordPress.org (not the more limited WordPress.com). Using this version gives you the ultimate freedom and control to build and grow your website however you want, with no limitations. It’s the industry standard for a reason, and it’s the only choice for a serious online business.
Divi by Elegant Themes
My Website Builder
My Website Builder
Honestly, the idea of building a website from scratch was intimidating. Divi was the solution. It’s a visual, drag-and-drop builder that lets you create professional-looking pages without ever touching a line of code. If you can imagine it, you can probably build it with Divi, which is why I chose it to be the foundation of my entire brand.
Google Workspace
Professional Email & Office
Professional Email & Office
Nothing says “I’m just starting out” like a Gmail or Hotmail address. Google Workspace was the very first tool I paid for because it instantly made my brand feel legitimate. It gives you a professional email address (like info@digitalhonestyhq.com) and all the power of Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive, all connected to your own domain. It’s the engine room of my business.
MailerLite – Email Marketing
Everyone says “the money is in the list,” and it’s true. Your email list is the one asset you truly own. I chose MailerLite because their free plan is incredibly generous (up to 1,000 subscribers) and the platform is much easier to use than some of the bigger names. It’s the perfect tool to start building your community from day one, without any upfront cost.
Canva – Graphics & Design
I am not a graphic designer. Canva is the tool that makes me look like one. From the logo for this brand to the e-book cover to every social media post, it’s all created in Canva. Its templates and simple interface give you the power to create stunning, professional-looking visuals in minutes. I genuinely couldn’t run this brand without it.
